Trades and Industries

Our collection of artifacts relating to trades and industries of Yarmouth County includes a number of tools and pieces of machinery from the 18th and 19th centuries, including those used in the fishing and textile industries. A reproduction of a blacksmith's workshop showcases machinery from Early Yarmouth and some of the tools and objects that were forged in Yarmouth's past.
